Things You Did Not Know About Young Blood Therapy

By James Taylor

If there were the option of living forever, most of us would not think twice about saying yes. Being immortal seems like one of the greatest adventures there can ever be. We have seen immortality in movies for a long time. This may be what inspired the project of young blood therapy. People could actually have the option of remaining young.

The pioneer of this project is known as Peter Thiel. He has invested a lot of his million dollars in the startups for blood rejuvenation. He promises to be the first in line to try out this project once it is complete. He also encourages members of the society to take part in this project of finding a way to stop aging and death in the world.

Parabiosis has actually been around longer than you can imagine. The theory of injecting the blood of a young person into the body of an old person has been around for over 100 years. It has not only been used for aging but also for metabolism, cancer, and diabetes. Parabiosis actually refers to joining two living organisms together by combining their blood circulatory systems.

The question is, how does injecting the blood of a young person into the system of an old person reverse or stop aging? It is believed that the blood cells found in the blood of the younger person are able to rejuvenate the cells in the organs and in the blood of the older person. This may seem impossible, but it has been tested out on rodents.

The experiments done in rodents have actually been successful. Combining the circulatory system of a young mouse with that of an older one has actually produced results. Scientists have recorded that the heart, brain, and muscles of the older mouse seemed to be stronger and working better. The older mouse, in general, becomes stronger and smarter and even their fur becomes shinier.

In California, a company known as ambrosia is already a step ahead of all the other companies. This is because this is because testing on human beings has almost begun. The plan is to have subjects of between 25-35 years of age. The 35-year-olds are injected with the blood of the 25-year-olds. They are then observed for a couple of years, and a conclusion is drawn.

As much as this project may be embraced by many and since this the only way that can lead to leaving long on this world, it is unlikely that everyone will be on board at the beginning. For example, the religious community is unlikely to accept this at all since from the creation it has never been in dairies or in accounts of creation. To them, it will seem as a mockery or as a challenge to God. No doubt however that with time, they will change their minds as no one wants to become old and weak as time goes by.

If the human experiments are successful, then Peter Thiels vampirism theory may become a reality. We may actually be looking at the option of immortality, and we will get to live those long adventurous lives like our favorite characters in the films.
